  • Lovely stay.

Beautiful cottage, renovated to a high standard, with pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lerryn is gorgeous! Lovely river walks, cute village shop (bit pricey, as expected) and proper village pub. Nothing fancy, the opposite of pretentious, but serving a decent beer (so my husband tells me) and food OK. We visited Eden, Heligan, Lanhydrock (all thoroughly enjoyable) and also rated Fowey and Polkerris beach. We hope to return to this area in the future.

A stunning cottage in beautiful surroundings.

We have enjoyed a fantastic week at Sweet Briar Cottage. It is a stunning cottage which has been restored to a very high standard. The cottage itself was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. We were really pleased with the location as the village of Lerryn was peaceful and idillyic whilst being only a short journey to some great restaurants, towns and the coast which made for plenty of great days out. Would highly recommend this property and we fully intend to stay again!

  • The perfect idyll.

What a delightful and restful cottage, beautifully and sympathetically restored in the land where you can throw your watch away. Lerryn feels well away from any tourist highway and close to the river with all of its walks through lush forests, yet village life still ebbs and flows through the pub, village green and store. Nicola, the owner, was really helpful from start to finish and nothing was any trouble she even tried to help us find another place close by for the second week. Quite simply we would return and have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. You will be so glad you booked it!

    Stunning Cottage in perfect location.

What a beautiful cottage; stylish, very clean and perfect for our family holiday. We felt very comfortable and relaxed in such excellent surroundings. Our daughter loved the garden area and our older son enjoyed tending to the log burner! Everything in the cottage was of excellent quality and the proximity to the shop and pub made life very easy for us! We highly recommend.

  • Thoughtfully equipped and tastefully presented cot.

Thoughtfully equipped and tastefully presented cottage in a quaint and very quiet village. Clean and tidy, well stocked cottage with a cosy lounge with wood burner. Situated close to the local pub and village shop which is very well stocked and friendly. Beautiful walks nearby along the river and through the woods towards Fowey. A most enjoyable and refreshing break in a fabulous cottage and beautiful village.

    Absolutely gorgeous!

A truly picture postcard cottage in an idyllic village which has a tidal river and stepping stones. Renovated and furnished very tastefully to a high standard. Lots of good walks directly from the cottage and plenty to do in the area. A well stocked shop and pub only a 2 minutes walk away. The log burner kept us warm and cosy and there was a good supply of logs provided.

  • A hidden gem.

The cottage was immaculate and the owners had renovated it to a very high standard. The pictures were a true reflection of what to expect. It had everything we needed for the perfect restful holiday. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The location was good for reaching Fowey and other coastal villages. We will certainly be recommending it to our friends and hope to return in the future.

    Beautiful.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and a credit to its owners, it is situated in a beautiful village with a shop and a pub and the locals were very friendly. The welcome gifts from Nicola (the owner) were a lovely touch and very much appreciated. My family and I had a lovely time in Cornwall and the cottage is situated central to lots of beautiful beaches and harbours. We look forward to returning in the future.

  • Comfortable, beautifully renovated cottage

The cottage was welcoming, warm and very comfortable. It is well equipped (even has a wine fridge!) and is within a few minutes walk from the centre of the village and the river bank. The village has a pub and a small store both run by very friendly and helpful people. Besides exploring the coastal villages and beaches, we went for some lovely walks along the river bank, and also visited the Eden Project which is in the area. Altogether a lovely, relaxing break in beautiful surroundings.

    Fabulous & beautifully renovated cottage.

Family week’s holiday in this beautifully renovated cottage began with very thoughtful and much needed bottle of wine, fudge, cookies and milk! No need to shop for first cup of tea as everything was provided. This is the most well stocked cottage with an abundance of towels, handsoap, cleaning solutions, toliet roll and logs and kindling for the fire- pretty much most of the things you would wish for to start off your holiday. The cottage is situated literally a stones throw from the local pub and village shop which is very well stocked and friendly. Beautiful walks nearby along the river and through the woods where secret gardens await. A most enjoyable and refreshing break in a fabulous cottage and beautiful village.
